朗读Edward Rawn
As an experiment, go out and buy two identical bags of potato chips.
In one of them, use a needle to carefully poke a hole near the corner, and gently squeeze the bag to let out a lot of the air through that hole.
Now find a friend and spend 5 minutes playing "catch" with each bag, tossing it back and forth between you across the room.
Get two large bowls, and pour the contents of each bag into one of the bowls.
In one bowl, every chip is broken into small pieces. It's almost a bag of crumbs, not a bag of chips. This was the bag with not a lot of air in it.
In the other bowl, there are a few broken chips, but overall many more chips are still in good shape. This was the bag full of air.
The air trapped in the bags help cushion the chips during transportation and handling, so that a better product is delivered.
